The new „Driver Protection System“, DPS for short, offers a key advantage in terms of safety for public transport drivers. It was developed especially to meet the needs of local public transport. Hygiene and robbery protection are central focal points with this driver divider. The TÜV-certified system can be quickly and easily retrofitted for permanent use in numerous local public transport bus series. For this, we are offering installation services at your transport company. Thanks to the new concept for hygienic safety barriers in buses, our company has an innovation that can be retrofitted at a reasonable price.

The system not only stands out in terms of health and safety protection, but also takes economic aspects into account: After all, smooth communication with boarding passengers, ticket issue and control is achieved with the help of special, individually adapted cut-outs in the driver divider. • The protective dividers of the Driver Protection System for driver workplaces have a modern design and a high-quality finish
• The version with single-pane safety glass - alternatively as laminated safety glass - provides a lasting contribution to driver safety and is low maintenance
• Maximum avoidance of visual impairment for the driver with optional anti-reflection coating. Anti-reflection coating on one side: Reduction to 4 % reflection and double-sided anti-reflection coating to less than 1 % reflection
• Individual perforations and cut-outs for communication, ticket control and payment process

The Driver Protection System was subjected to all relevant test series, such as field of vision test, reflection test, breakage test. It is based on TÜV-certified technology.

The Driver Protection System is available for a wide range of bus types, including: EVOBUS Citaro C1, EVOBUS Citaro C2, MAN Lion´s City, VDL, Berkhof, HESS, Solaris, Van Hool
2020 and 2021: Installation of 100 different driver protection systems in more than 4.000 buses.
