Energy efficiency
We can significantly reduce our operating costs through efficient energy utilisation and the use of modern technologies. Last but not least, ener- gy-saving measures and the use of renewable energies can reduce our dependence on volatile energy markets and fossil fuels. Energy efficiency therefore represents a significant competitive advantage - because we offer our products at competitive prices even in times of rising energy costs. What‘s more, the conscious use of energy reduces our company‘s carbon footprint and thus makes an important contribution to protecting our environment and combating climate change.we are convinced that a forward-looking supplier in the mobility sector in particular should also actively contribute to energy-saving measures and the use of renewable energies.
Photovoltaic system
The expansion of our photovoltaic system began in 2022, and at the beginning of 2023 we further expanded and completed the system, adding a further 400 solar modules to give us a total generator area of 3.145 m², which means we can achie- ve an annual yield of almost 530.000 kWh. Assuming an average consumption of 3.000 kWh for a 3-person household, this corresponds to the coverage of approx. 176 households.what makes us particularly proud is the amount of CO2 saved of 248.747 kg/year - it impressively underlines the ecological orientation of our company.the energy production can be followed in real time on a monitor in our entrance area and can also be called up via mobile devices.our modernised IT, im- proved ventilation systems in the common rooms and new heating systems alrea- dy have optimised energy efficiency. New compressor units are also more econo- mical and their waste heat supports the building heating. In addition, many of our new devices and machines have enhanced energy consumption control functions as well as increased productivity.
